The Solution Architect takes ownership of a solution within a project to architect solutions that solve the customer’s business problem and generate maximum value for customers. In this role, you may work on multiple projects simultaneously, providing direction to the project team on the design and execution of the solution and definition of business process workflows that accompany the solution. This is a remote position. This opportunity can be 100% virtual from anywhere within the United States.

What you’ll have an opportunity to do: Design effective solutions through the definition of workflows, processes, test plans, training plans, and user interfaces to solve customer’s business problem and deliver value.Articulate the solution to customers and ensures unanimous understanding and buy-in by defining the customer’s needs or problem areas based on project timeline.Work effectively with other MercuryGate resources and customer team members to reach established objectives and deadlines.Investigate and explore future applications of software. Maintains a high level of knowledge in technology, systems, and industry trends.Creatively solve business problems through knowledge of MercuryGate or 3rd Party Services.Take proactive leadership in coaching and transferring knowledge and skills to other team members on advanced functionality of MercuryGate products and solutions.Complete thorough, clear, and timely documentation of solution requirements.Ensure compliance with internal and external company policies and procedures.
What we’re looking for: Deep knowledge of transportation and logistics business processes combined with an in-depth knowledge of MercuryGate or other TMS products.Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners, and consultants.Strong communicator, able to influence and collaborate at all levels to maximize problem resolution while effectively presenting information and responding to highly specialized technical questions.Highly developed analytical skills, able to apply advanced mathematical concepts and mathematical operations to tasks as required.Ability to work independently and be effective/proactive in a relatively unstructured environment.Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Experienced in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.Excellent computer skills with in-depth knowledge of manufacturing TMS, OMS, ERP, and other systems integration.

Compensation: $90,000 - $140,000 per year (salary), plus a bonus calculated as a percentage of base salary. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
