We are looking for a Trade Counter Assistant to join our Coventry Branch (CV1) :

Contracted to 42.5 Hours per week

<br>Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 17:00

<br>No bank holiday working required

<br>As a Trade Counter Assistant you will be the face of our wholesale branch, providing excellent customer service on the Trade Counter to trade professional’s and members of the public whilst taking ownership of shop displays to highlight promotions and store offers.

<br><br>

Our wholesale branches are a little different to a normal retail store , we have a trade counter instead of a shop floor, a warehouse instead of a stockroom alongside a sales team & delivery driver - This means that no 2 days are the same for our Trade Counter Assistant s.

<br><br>

From selling products on the trade counter , calling customers to build rapport and drive customer loyalty to popping into the warehouse to pick & pack items to ensure customers’ orders are completed on time.

<b>Trade Counter Assistant:</b> The Role

<br><br>

Deliver excellent customer service to all customers

<br>Build and maintain successful partnerships with customers, colleagues and suppliers and focus on the achievement of long-term customer loyalty

<br>Be flexible to carry out various tasks and activities to support the effective overall running of the branch including being in the stores, telesales and trade counter sales

<br>Effectively manage stock display in trade counter exposing the customer to a wide range of stock and impulse products, new stock ranges and any value-added services as is practical within the Sales Counter

<br>Maintain a clean and tidy environment that is always well presented creating an environment to positively influence the Sales Counter performance

<br>Using IT systems such as M3 or Microsoft Office where appropriate

<br>Be a relief Driver for van deliveries to support as necessary

<br><b>Trade Counter Assistant:</b> The Person

<br><br>

Ideally hold a Valid In-date Drivers Licence

<br>Customer focused, with experience of working in a customer facing role

<br>Proactive approach and a natural flair for building relationships with customers

<br>Confident to work in a fast-paced role, whilst maintaining a consistent eye for detail

<br>A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure

<br>Embracing of change and new technologies

<br>Electrical product knowledge is advantageous

<br><br>
