What you will do:
Be part of an associate engineer program which will expose you to different projects and a modern software stack- Building and deploying faster and more efficient software for colleagues and customers
- Building a better experience for colleagues and customers alike
- Working with Solution Architects to assist in projects
- Learning internal banking processes
- Have the opportunity to learn modern languages like Java 17, Angular, and mobile development
- Have the opportunity to study for industry recognised qualifications

What you will need:
Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders- A willingness to learn new skills and grow in the technology space
- Have a passion for technology and an interest in writing code
- To be successful in this role you will need the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues
- A basic level of understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Some knowledge of web development – JavaScript, HTML, CSS – would be an advantage
