Job Description

The Policy Analyst at a leading charity will need to:

  • Work closely with policy advisors, maintain oversight of key policy developments and emerging issues on key areas.
  • Collate and summarise insight and data from within the organisation and information provided by colleagues; campaigning outcomes; FOI data; and education and health providers on key topics.
  • Work with colleagues, identify where good practice might exist in services/provision for children and the key factors underpinning this.
  • Develop a range of policy briefings, blogs and articles that set out our insight and analysis on key issues.
  • Help to map and build relations with key policy experts and thinkers. Inform and participate in wider policy discussions and debates externally.
  • Support the policy team in generating and appraising policy options on different topics and strategic policy discussions.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic and cross cutting projects within the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

You will be skilled at providing high-quality policy analysis to organisations on key and emerging issues and developments, producing high impact briefings etc.A knowledge of SEND/Education/Health is desirable.
