Job Description

In your first few weeks in this UX Designer role, you can expect to:

  • Work collaboratively with the insight team, reviewing, commissioning and leading research, to identify and make recommendations for UX/UI improvements, and facilitate best practice
  • Ensure that participation in user research is inclusive and accessible for the full diversity of service users
  • Plan and carry out user-centred research and design activity to support the delivery of a high-quality app and web-based customer journeys for the our client Group
  • Identify user needs and goals through a range of methods including lab and field-based usability testing, interviews, surveys, co-design workshops, contextual inquiry, and ethnographic.

The Successful Applicant

To apply for this UX Designer role, you will need to be educated to a graduate level or have an equivalent qualification or be able to demonstrate relevant professional qualifications. You will also require the following:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable experience of choosing and applying appropriate user-centred research methods
  • Experience using different phases of the design cycle
  • Extensive experience in UX and UX situations.
