The Mid Yorkshire Hospital Trust Clinical Coding Department is looking to recruit an experienced Band 3-5 (dependent on experience) Clinical Coder to join our well-established team.
All our vacancies are based on the Pinderfields Hospital site, but team members have the opportunity to work within our other hospital facilities, including on the Dewsbury Hospital site. As a member of our team, you will work as part of a well-structured team, who are fully committed to your personal development. The team also has the support of a Coding Auditor, Trainee Trainers, and Divisional Leads.
Working hours can be considered around commitments/availability and the needs of the service.
The Trust offers a flexible approach to varied working patterns to suit staff needs. The Clinical Coding Department encompasses this approach through an agile working rota which offers staff the flexibility to work from home based on personal circumstances and service need.
Applications will be considered from candidates who have a range of experience. Those who have completed their Clinical Coding Standards Course and / or a Clinical Coding Standards Refresher Course and who are working towards becoming a qualified coder with the National Clinical Coding Qualification UK (ACC). Also, if you have significant clinical coding experience and hold National Clinical Coding Qualification UK (ACC) we'd love to hear from you!
