About the role

We are looking for a team of two self-employed drivers to assist with furniture delivery and collections for our charity shops based in Gloucester, Walsall, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Wellington, Merry Hill, Hereford and Shrewsbury. Applicants must have their own insured van and public liability insurance. Typical jobs involve delivery and collections within a radius of each shop and store to store transfers. Please be advised work would be on ad-hoc basis, circa 1-2 days per week.

About Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC)

Established in 1991, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) is responsible for providing pre-hospital critical care across the six Midlands counties of: Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, and the West Midlands. The charity also delivers secondary cover to surrounding areas, such as Warwickshire and mid Wales. Our services are provided by operating three air ambulance helicopters and three critical care cars, which serves the growing Midlands population of six million plus people. Our retail shops provide a presence in the regions in which we serve and are key in bringing in revenue to enable us to continue our life saving service.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
