Part Time Accountant (Russian speaking)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

At our boutique accounting firm, our mission is to assist small and medium business owners in effectively managing their tax and reporting responsibilities. We are committed to providing the friendly and efficient support to our clients, ensuring they remain in control of their financial obligations.

We are looking for a qualified or part-qualified Accountant to join our Accounting and Business Consultancy team. This is a varied client-facing role to perform across core areas of the business such as business consultancy, company formations and accounting services. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable self-starter and the role will provide an excellent commercial grounding within all aspects of the UK accounting.

The position is fully remote and work schedule is flexible, so the role will suit an organised and responsible person who can work independently and stay focused with minimum supervision. This is a part-time job for a mature professional.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data,
• Prepare and review financial statements, year end accounts,
• Business consulting,
• Corporation Tax returns preparation,
• VAT returns,
• Payroll and relevant reporting including P11D, P46 etc,
• Pension auto-enrolment,
• Personal Self-assessment tax returns,
• Registering clients to taxes (UTR, PAYE, VAT, NRLS etc),
• Tracking reporting deadlines and staying ahead of the schedule

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 1-2 year of relevant accounting experience
• Experience working with cloud accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero, Capium)
• Russian speaking is an advantage
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Proactive attitude to clients

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £34,837.00-£38,067.00 per year
