Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Title: Trainee Accountant

Moore have an exciting opportunity within the Business Services department. We are looking for someone who is hard working and a team player to forge a career within the firm and gain the AAT qualification.

Job Role

  • Book Keeping on behalf of clients
  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts
  • Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
  • Payroll preparation
  • Other ad-hoc duties within the department

  • Show initiative and self-motivation
  • Work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Organised
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong administration and literacy skills (Microsoft Office)

No previous experience is required as this is a training position. Ideal candidate being someone who wants to learn and looking for a career in accountancy.

Full training will be provided, plus the opportunity to study the AAT course (accredited qualification).
