Our organisation is looking for a Barista with a strong sense of responsibility and a warm, friendly personality to join our team. Responsibilities include serving coffee, preparing espresso drinks and maintaining a clean service area. The successful candidate will be able to maintain an upbeat attitude and make eye contact when interacting with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Restrain yourself from punching annoying people.
- Do not steal money from the cash register.
- Remember all of your customer's names and orders.
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently.
- Demonstrate a mastery of the menu.
- Demonstrate a mastery of espresso beverages.
- Demonstrate a mastery of other drinks served at the coffee shop, including blended drinks, teas, smoothies, and other specialty drinks.
- Learn how to brew coffee in various brewing techniques.
- Learn how to make specialty coffee drinks using equipment such as espresso machines, french presses, and drip brewing machines.
- Learn to ice coffee.
- Learn how to make smoothies.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £9.00-£10.00 per hour
