MYB Direct encompasses several brands with a wide range of product categories and selling platforms. We are recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join the team. We are a motivated, energetic team with a drive for success. We are seeking a like-minded individual with a keen interest in logistics to take on this role and grow with the company.
Job Description:
- Forecasting the timely movement of stock
- Reporting and data analysis
- Arranging import and export of freight shipments, producing the necessary documentation, liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders.
- Liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners to ensure stock is delivered on time and in full
- Develop supplier management and optimisation strategies
- Management of customs clearance documentation
- Negotiating with suppliers and freight forwarding companies
Qualifications and Experience
- A strong willingness to fulfil the job role (comprehensive in-house training is provided)
- Accomplished and confident negotiator
- Highly organised with the ability to plan, multitask and effectively prioritise workload
- Be commercially aware
- A logical thinker who is highly numerate, analytical and process-orientated who can balance several workstreams simultaneously
- Operates with continuous improvement focus, determining problems, finding solutions, and implementing them.
- Previous knowledge of procurement or Logistics.
- Effective communication skills; both written and verbal
