Role Overview & Responsibilities

Nathan's Paw Trails Ltd are looking for an adhoc dog walker/petsitter to help cover holidays, sickness and additional walks that cannot be covered by our full time walkers. The position is to be on a self employed basis.

Areas covered include Lordswood, Bassett, Shirley, Highfield, Ocean Village, Bitterne, Woolston, Hedge End, West End, Bishopstoke, Fair Oak, Eastleigh, Chandler's Ford. The ideal candidate will live within a short drive from most of these locations.

The walker must be available Monday to Friday generally between the hours of 9am and 3pm. Diaries are planned and sent out on Friday for the following week, but you must generally be contactable between these hours in case we need any last minute cover.

Previous experience working with dogs is essential, and does not include solely looking after your own dogs for X amount of years. Knowledge or experience of dog reactivity is also desired, but not essential.

You must be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds, and happy to walk up to 4 dogs at at time.

You must have a full drivers license, a current DBS check, your own public liability insurance, business car insurance, and a canine first aid certificate.

This position is a permanent position. We will not accept anyone looking for temporary work as staff changes can be stressful for the dogs and their owners.

Part-time hours: 0-10 per week

Salary: From £13.00 per hour
