Under the supervision of an Assistant Director and BCBA, the Senior ABA Therapist/RBT is responsible for assisting and supporting an individual who resides in Boston in carrying out clinical and educational programs, accompanying the individual in the community and accompanying the individual when traveling both locally and internationally. Now offering a $2,000 ($1,000 upon hire and $1,000 after 6 months of employment) sign-on Bonus to hired candidates! *Must have a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally* RESPONSIBILITIES:Utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis implements clinical programming as directed by the Assistant Director and the BCBA Supervisor.Observes and records accurate and reliable data for programs as established in the clinical plan for the individual.Attends and participates in team meetings and other required program planning meetings.Provides support for the individual by accompanying them to required activities including attending classes, sport lessons etc.Accompanies the individual when traveling and ensures that consistent programming continues during periods of travel and across environments.Assumes other specific responsibilities as deemed necessary to ensure the safety of the individuals being served.7.Must have a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors’ degree preferred but not required.Previous experience working in a setting that utilized programming based on the principles of applied behavior analysis required.Previous experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is required.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Must have a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally.Current certification as an RBT or willingness to become certified.
