Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager in Downtown Miami, FL. The Project Manager provides professional support in the execution of planning, engineering, real estate development, including all large-scale development programs.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination: Assisting the SVP in coordinating various aspects of the project, including working with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project stays on track and meets deadlines.Documentation: Managing project documentation, including contracts, permits, plans, and reports. This involves keeping records organized and up to date to facilitate efficient communication and decision-making.Budget and Cost Control: Assisting with budget tracking and cost control measures to ensure that the project remains within financial parameters. This could involve tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and working to optimize resource allocation.Communication: Facilitating effective communication between different teams and stakeholders involved in the project, including internal teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities. This helps ensure that everyone is aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.Construction Site Visits and Inspections: Participating in site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of construction, identify any issues or discrepancies, and ensure that work is being carried out according to plans and quality standards. Review RFI’s and submittals.Quality Assurance: Supporting quality control efforts by monitoring the quality of construction work, materials, and finishes to ensure they meet the company's standards and the expectations of residents. Work with Forensic Engineer to track issues and resolve.Project Reporting: Compiling and preparing regular progress reports for project stakeholders, providing updates on milestones, timelines, and any issues that may impact the project's progress.Team Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, marketing, and property management, to ensure a seamless transition from development to property operations.Learning and Development: Continuously staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in real estate development to contribute to the growth and success of the company.
QualificationsExperience in project management, expediting, and logistics managementStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyKnowledge of construction industry standards and practicesExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsBachelor's degree in a related field, such as Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
