Warehouse Operator
- Order picking and packing of goods within a warehouse environment
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
- Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
- Assisting with warehouse inventory controls, which typically involves using a hand-held scanner
- Treating merchandise with care and concern at all times
Job responsibilities
To check incoming/outgoing stock and recording
Order picking and packing of goods within a warehouse environment.
Drive fork lift truck / counter balance truck to transport material
Basic document completion re picking sheets and stock
Stock-taking duties
Key skills
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills are essential
- Previous warehousing experience desirable although full training will be given
- Must be willing and flexible re duties
- Current, clean driving licence for driving Company vehicles
- Team worker, reliable, accurate and methodical in practice
Working Hours
- 3 Shift Rotation
- Monday - Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am
