About The Team
Noah’s Research and Innovation (R&I) Team is responsible for helping identify, define, and explore the front end of endoluminal surgical innovation. The team focuses on generating solutions to address new clinical opportunities, investigates and synergizes technologies, and ultimately delivers proof of concepts that demonstrate clinical and business viability.
The R&I Intern will support the R&I team in the exploration, design, and assessments of novel instrument solutions. These instruments will include robotically manipulated catheters, endoscopes, and associated accessories. The intern will participate in the design, prototyping and testing of these novel instrument solutions.
As a Mechatronics Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers to design, build, and test innovative surgical robotic systems. You will be involved in various stages of the product development process, from conceptualization and prototyping to validation and implementation. This internship offers hands-on
experience in a fast-paced startup environment and the chance to make meaningful contributions to the future of healthcare technology.
A Day In The Life Of Our Mechatronics Engineering Intern
Collaborate With Cross-functional Teams To Understand Project
requirements and objectives.Assist in the design and development of mechatronic components and subsystems for surgical robotic systems.Assist in the integration of mechatronic systems into overall robotic platforms.Document design specifications, test procedures, and results for internal reference and regulatory compliance.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in mechatronics, robotics, and healthcare.
About You
Utilize CAD software to create detailed mechanical designs and assemblies.Fabricate prototypes and perform rapid iterations to optimize design performance.Conduct experimental testing and data analysis to validate design concepts and functionality.A rising senior or graduate in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical or Industrial engineeringProven
experience in SolidWorks CAD system, at least 2 yrs.An understanding of manufacturing processes including designing for polymer extrusions, catheter composites, machining, sheet metal, injection molding, EDM, laser cutting, and rapid prototyping.Prior
experience in working with cross-functional teams.Demonstrated product development aptitude through coursework or capstone projects.

experience level and/or specialized
skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total
compensation package.
California Pay Range
$24—$28 Usd
Noah Medical may offer remote, hybrid, or onsite work arrangements within the state of California depending on the specific team and/or role where applicable.
