Goods In and Quality Inspector

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Nortam Finishing Ltd have a new position for an experienced Goods In/Quality Inspector to work alongside teams both in the busy factory and the office. This role will be fairly varied day to day, depending on the work on the factory floor and where you are needed in both departments.

The company apply finishes to a wide range of Aerospace and Defence components.

The role will include but not limited to -

Counting and inspecting incoming goods.

Inventory and stock taking.

Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed correctly.

Inspecting and testing completed works (training will be given).

Keeping the Goods In area clean and organised.

Greeting delivery drivers and helping them unload if needed.

Packing and dispatching finished works.

Liaising with customers.

This position would suit someone who is highly organised and precise.

Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and be proficient in word processing and spreadsheet use.

Training will be given for other applications and programs used within the factory and office.

Previous experience of accepting goods in, dispatching goods out and quality inspection is highly advantageous.

Working within and ISO 9001/ AS9100 company is also desirable but not essential.

Immediate start required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday 0800-1700, Friday 0800-1300.

Salary: £10.50 -£14.00 per hour, depending on age and experience.
