North Lincolnshire Council is looking for a Duty Officer to work in Development Management. The post involves a range of front-line duties to support our busy Development Management team including providing high-quality, front-line customer service, information and advice on planning issues; processing minor planning applications, and; advising and assisting the public on the completion and submission of planning applications and the processes to follow.
The post would suit someone who is highly organised but flexible to meet the changes in workload, deadlines, priorities and circumstances that arise from working in a complex service. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to deal with a wide range of customers.
The post holder will be working towards or in possession of a relevant planning qualification. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
