Research Assistant in Microbiology and Bioinformatics

This is a fixed to contract until 30/07/2023

Salary- £23,829 - £25,766

We are inviting applications for a research assistant position to support our ongoing research activity across the Department of Biosciences.


About the role

This position integrates into highly active research areas associated with exploration of microbiology, with particular focus the microbiome and bioinformatic analysis. A successful candidate would be expected to be experienced in organising research activity and laboratory environments. Expected research activity would include performing in vitro experimentation and using differing wet and dry lab methodological approaches. Candidates would be expected to have experience in biochemical and molecular assays in differing biological contexts that would support microbial research.
