Brentwood Hospital | Pathology | Permanent | Full time
37.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday

Early shifts on rotation 08:00 – 16:00

Normal shift 09:00 – 17:00

Late shift on rotation and normally covered by on-call person 10:00 – 18:00

Saturday - on rotation (1:8 weekends)

09:00 – 13:00 and normally covered by on-call person

On-call – on rotation (1:8)

Monday to Friday 18:00 – 08:00

All day weekends and bank holiday

As a Biomedical Scientist at our Brentwood Hospital, you’ll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You’re also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality.

As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:
Deliver high-quality pathology services

Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service

Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control

Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables

Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures

Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients
