Visit Britain use our data to identify and monitor UK inbound tourism to help build a detailed understanding of global target markets and broader travel trends. Our data enables Visit Britain to provide information & advice to Government (the data you will collect impacts government policy) and the tourism industry and monitor perceptions of Britain amongst visitors and potential visitors. Balance of Payments use the IPS data to record foreign resident spend in the UK and compare with UK resident spend abroad.

Job description

You will be based at the Port of Holyhead and this will be considered your normal place of work (your base site).

IPS shifts are allocated on a 6 weekly basis with a mixture of AM & PM weekday and weekend shifts. Depending on your site, shifts lengths vary from 4 – 8 hours. As an IPS Interviewer, you will work as part of a small team using your friendly interpersonal skills to persuade a wide range of people to participate in this important interview. Once the information has been gathered, you will enter it on to a tablet. You will be provided with a free uniform. Car parking is available at all sites. You will be employed on an 12 month fixed term contract for 546 hours per annum. This broadly equates to 10.5 hours per week. More information on annualised contracts and how they work can be found in the candidate pack. Flexibility in when you can work is a requirement of our business. Therefore, if you have any regular set commitments on any day of the week, this will preclude you from applying.
