The Old Bridge Bakery is currently seeking a reliable and punctual Bakery Delivery Driver to join our team for morning shifts! We are a well-established bakery dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional service to our wholesale customers. If you enjoy early mornings, have a clean driving record, and take pride in delivering fresh, delicious bakery products, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload bakery products onto the delivery vehicle in a timely and organized manner
- Deliver fresh bakery products to our wholesale customers each morning, following a predetermined route and schedule
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers
- Handle invoices and collect payments from customers as required
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of the delivery vehicle
- Communicate with the bakery team regarding any delivery issues, delays, or customer concerns
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Previous experience in a delivery role is a plus, but not required
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work 4-5 hours per day, starting early in the morning
