Stores Supervisor
Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £28,000
Hours: 8am – 4pm
Location: Coventry, CV2 2DX (on-site parking provided)
We are recruiting for an experienced Stores Supervisor to support our site maintenance team at Coventry University Hospital in Coventry.
The Store Supervisor will lead our stores team and ensure they maintain a fully functioning engineering maintenance store with correct identification, locating, updated records and implementation of operational improvements.They will have previous experience of working in a warehouse or store environment, be process driven and have supervisory or leadership skills.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within a Warehouse/Stores environment
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
- Good understanding of health and safety
- Good problem solving capabilities
- Good Administration and IT skills (ie Microsoft Office) + ability to use internal systems
You would be responsible for:
- Dealing directly with engineering colleagues.
- Once goods are received check the condition of delivery and reconcile product against relevant paperwork (Delivery Notes, PO’s, Serial numbers etc)
- Keeping accurate records for all receipting and issuing of goods both internally and externally from the business
- Updating of computerized maintenance management / stores software (Concept)
- Ensure stock is stored in the correct location and recording any movements
- Organising the stores for ease of use, ensuring that systems are in place for controlling the booking out of stock
- Suggest and implement new ideas for stock levels and improvement of the overall process.
