Festival Bar Manager
One Circle Events; one of the UK’s leading festival and event bar operators, have an exciting opportunity for individuals to join the team for the summer of 2023. Working alongside the Operations and stock team to deliver smooth service for our customers, and enjoyable shifts for our staff at events throughout the UK. The bars we operate range from high volume and high performance, to cocktail, real ale, brand activations and VIP bars.
The Role
- Prior to the event, you will set up the bars, so they are ready for high-performance operation.
- Managing all operational staff within your allocated bar, including bar staff, MDU operators, stock and logistics, security, staffing, EPOS and commercial.
- Providing engaging and thorough briefings to all staff to ensure they will work in line with all H&S and licensing information
- Managing all compliance with licensing laws and health and safety policies
- Providing leadership, motivation, direction, and support to staff
- Dealing with customer enquiries
The Ideal Candidate
- Good team-management skills
- Experience in working Festival bar environment ideal but not essential
- Good problem-solving skills
- Hardworking, can-do attitude
- Good communication and organized
- Personal license preferred
- Happy to camp at some festivals
Personal License Holder Advantageous
Job Types: Temporary contract, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: £150.00-£200.00 per day
