Data Analyst

Job Description
Optomi Professional Services, in partnership with a leading tire distributor, is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team! The Data Analyst will work closely with the Supply Chain team to help identify exceptions and uncover insights from large transactional datasets. This role requires strong analytical problem-solving skills to help establish routine reporting, conduct root cause analysis, and continuously improve data quality and processes.
Responsibilities:Analyze daily transactional data files containing over 100,000 rows to identify exceptions and rule violationsBuild daily, weekly, and monthly reporting dashboards using Excel and Tableau to visualize key metrics and exceptionsDevelop real-time daily monitoring dashboards, historical weekly business review dashboards, and executive dashboards using Power BI and ExcelConduct root cause analysis to understand issues, form hypotheses, and identify sensitivities in the dataCommunicate findings and insights to cross-functional partners to drive continuous improvement workWork with product teams to integrate data into certified platforms like Palantir over timeStay up to date on emerging data technologies and best practicesMaintain established reporting routines and troubleshoot any issues
Must-Haves:Experience in data analysis, problem-solving, or data scienceProficiency in Excel required, with experience in Tableau, SQL, or SAS preferred.Open to using various technologiesA mix of technical skills and the ability to learn supply chain domain knowledgeStrong communication and storytelling skillsEntrepreneurial mindset with flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
