Role Overview & Specifications

We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to join a successful IT consultancy company in Dundee.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for clients reporting ICT issues, faults or requests; contacts are typically by telephone or by email or face-to-face;
  • Ensure that all ICT issues, faults and requests are logged into the helpdesk ticketing system;
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
  • Assist in other duties relating to the day-to-day maintenance and of the client's computer systems;
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
  • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
  • Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
  • Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
  • Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time.

Salary: £20,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
