The Art Director will be joining a Global Brand Experience Agency who pride themselves on their story telling through creative work. The collaborative mix of skill sets has formed a team who are able to ideate, conceptualise and delivery stories through events, exhibitions, brand and product launches across a wide spectrum of international clients. As Art Director, it will be your job to think creatively, doodle, scamp and sketch ideas to then work up with the team to a full campaign / project and deliver it on time, on budget and with the wow factor the team has become known for within it's clients circle.
Working with the wider teams across design, content, production and film, the Art Director will:
- Develop concepts through creative thinking and story telling
- Figure out the best way to deliver the brands / clients message and journey
- Inspire creativity in others through scamping out ideas and sketches to illustrate your thoughts and concepts
- Interpret briefs from the client, work with the insight team to understand what message needs to be conveyed and how to do that
- Storyboard for films, brand activations, events & exhibitions as well as experiential and product launches
- Develop strategy for each brief and project through to delivery stage
Whilst there are offices in Cheadle that the teams use, the role is a hybrid one and offers a great amount of flexibility, if you feel you work better in your own company from home, that's fine, if you want to ideate and bounce ideas of people, that's fine too. This position offers the best of both worlds. This role would suit someone who is a creative thinker, a doodler, dreamer and ideator. If you have Mac skills, great, but don't worry if not. Pencil and paper will likely make up most of your arsenal.
