Job Title: Vice Principal

We are looking to hire a Vice Principal, who will be promoting the highest standards of behaviour among all students in order to create "a respectful environment so that all of our students are safe, secure, and successful," in accordance with the institutional ethos.
The Vice Principal (Pastoral Care), who reports to the Principal, is in charge of making sure that the ethos is reflected in all facets of pastoral care, student wellbeing, safeguarding, and behaviour management.
Experience and qualifications:
- Qualified teacher status
- Ensure that the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads and senior pastoral personnel, including pastoral AVPs, are line managed and supported in their professional development.
- Managing the Academy's safety mechanisms, such as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads and programming for student wellbeing.
- Putting into practise suitable intervention measures (including collaboration with teams like SEND, Welfare, and outside organisations) for students who persistently fail to behave in accordance with Academy norms.
