The Area Manager Role:
As a Papa John’s Area Manager you will be the leader of a large team with Store Managers reporting directly to you. You are their coach, consultant and motivator. Through your team you will deliver highly profitable businesses that are safe and legal at all times.
You are responsible for your cluster developing an engaged team, from Team Members to Delivery Drivers, unified by a strong values led culture. That culture is about fun and amazing pizza!
Skills we are looking for in our Area Manager:
- Experience of engaging and leading a team
- Ability to prioritise workload based on people needs and commercial benefits
- Recruitment & general HR management experience
- Initiative to identify growth opportunities which drive profitability
- Experience of overseeing scheduling and all cost lines to drive profitability
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Use of POS systems, excel & word and aptitude to learn internal systems
Experience & Qualities we are looking for in our Area Manager:
- You bring energy, positivity & clarity of purpose to teams you lead
- A strong history of developing talent internally
- In depth knowledge of the hospitality retail environment
- A track record of operating businesses safely and legally
- At least 2 years management experience (multi-unit leadership preferred)
- Hold a valid UK driving licence (extensive travel may be required)
- Willing to work weekend and nights to the needs of the business
- Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant'
