About me
I am a fun loving 9 year old who is in year 4 at primary school and I live with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I love playing computer games and I’m a big fan of football, Roblox, drawing and going swimming at our local hydrotherapy pool. I enjoy going to see films at the cinema and visiting our local shops and cafes. I need support to go out more and develop my social skills in and around my community as well as getting ready to go out at home. I am currently living at home in Sawston with my parents and younger brother. About the Job This is a real opportunity to support a disabled young person. The role entails providing personal care and support both at home and in the local community. I’m looking for a person with a can-do attitude who can help and support me and provide my parents with some respite.
8 hours per month outside of school hours (after school, weekends, school holidays)Possible babysitting in the evenings £11 per hour (this can be negotiated) DBS required All relevant training will be given
