Warehouse Operative Vacancy
An opportunity has arisen at the distribution site of Perspex International for a Shift Operative to join the Walker Park team who are committed to providing a first class distribution service.
The ideal candidate must be a team player with a flexible ‘can do’ approach to your work. Have the ability to work with the minimal supervision whilst working as part of a team.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 06.50 – 16.00. Some flexibility will be required to facilitate customer requirements.
The successful candidate will be expected to be pro-active, drive productivity whilst maintaining quality and lead by example. In return we offer an attractive rate of pay and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
· Using a counterbalance FLT to move and organise stock within the warehouse
· Load product on to the production machinery using a FLT
· Working on the production machinery to saw acrylic sheets in to correct sizes
· Packaging batches of acrylic sheets ready for delivery
· Supporting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
· Adhering to Health and Safety guidelines at all times
· Other ad-hoc warehouse duties
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid FLT Licence (essential)
- Computer Literate
- Good Team Player
- Demonstrate high concern for standards and H&S
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £23,567.45 per year
