Role: Legal Cost Drafter (Croydon)
Salary: £20,000- £22,000
Location: Croydon
Hours: 40-hour week

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a successful Law Firm, with a team of 50 staff members, compromising of highly experienced, dedicated solicitors and paralegals. Requirements:
Ideal candidate must hold a legal background
Minimum 1 year experience cost drafting
Responsibilities:
Drafting bills/ costs of costs schedules (electronic)
Knowledge of case management systems
Preparing new electronic bills
Preparing Precedent H budgets & Precedent R
Drafting estimates of costs
Dealing with part 8 claims
Preparing N260 costs schedules
Negotiating costs
Preparing points of dispute/replies
Provisional/detailed assessment proceedings
Final costs certificates
Default costs certificates
Complete post Assessment work including agreeing figures and concluding assessment process
Provide costs advice/guidance to fee earners as and when required
Ability to deal with paying party solicitors on a day-to-day basis
