HGV Class 1 Driver
Job Overview
You will be part of a 2 man crew taking our meat products to mainly the London area doing multi drop deliveries on set routes.
The majority of deliveries involve some heavy lifting into customer’s premises.
Key Responsibilities
A general inspection of the vehicle for roadworthiness with any defects recorded and handed to the office.
Have a good understanding of the legal requirements regarding driver’s hours and making sure all tachograph entries are correct.
Making sure all paperwork is correct both before and on return and signed.
The Person
You must hold a UK HGV C+E licence with a valid CPC and Tacho card.
Must command good English Language both written and verbal.
Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance.
Hours
50 hours plus per week.
