Job Title: Trainee 3D Photographer

Salary: Starting from a basic salary of £20,300 (with pay increases and bonuses once training complete)
We are Scene3D. Since we began in 2018, we’ve become an award winning company and one of the UK’s leading 3D virtual tour providers. A virtual tour is best described as being similar to Google Street View but for the inside of buildings, where a visitor can virtually ‘walk’ around a space from their phone, computer, tablet or VR headset. We work with a variety of businesses across a range of sectors such as estate agencies & property developers, office space providers, wedding venues and universities, to name a few.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our business as a trainee 3D photographer. We’re a small, close team and pride ourselves on having a great culture of working hard to be the best, while fostering innovation and creativity in our staff.
As a trainee 3D photographer you will learn the skills to 3D scan a space, how to complete the post production so the 3D virtual tour is ready to launch and how to effectively utilize this type of interactive content. This role will be a mix of office-based in our office in Sheffield and on-site shoots. Essential to this role is a sense of adventure, we often conduct shoots all over the UK (and sometimes Europe) so working away is a fairly regular part of the job. For example: in the past 12 months we’ve completed projects ranging from London's iconic Tower Bridge, a historic hotel in rural Scotland and a modern office building in central Berlin.
Due to the element of travel necessary for this role, applicants MUST be able to drive and have their own car (travel expenses will of course be covered).
Trainee 3D Photographer Duties;
- Effectively and efficiently 3D scan & photograph spaces
- Virtual tour post production
- Video editing
- You will also be expected to do some other duties such as helping with social media posts, updating the company portfolio on our website and other admin tasks.
Experience required for a Trainee 3D Photographer;
We can train and teach the necessary skills for this role so previous experience is not required, however experience in the following areas would be helpful:
- Photography
- Videography
- Adobe suite (Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects etc)
