Responsibilities
- Trans create and/or post-edit/review machine-translated web site content
- Trans create and/or post-edit/review machine-translated marketing collaterals
- Review marketing transcreations and translations done by vendors
- Assess the quality of the vendors’ deliverables
- Create/Maintain translation memories and terminology databases
- While your focus will be marketing and the web, you may also be asked to:
- Localize Planview products’ user interfaces
- Perform linguistic and functional tests
- Report and assist with resolution of linguistic issues
- Translate support materials and eLearning modules
Qualifications
- University degree in translation or translation diploma from a recognized translation school or equivalent degree/qualification
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Experience in transcreating for marketing and the web (software localization would be a plus)
- Provide excellent stylistic command and great accuracy, even under pressure
- Proficient in RWS Trados Studio, RWS Passolo, and Microsoft Word (familiarity with RWS MultiTerm and Microsoft Excel would be a plus)
- Self-motivated, highly committed, team-player, quality-conscious and a fast learner
