Role Overview & Responsibilities

Precision Group have been providing professional, managed services and innovative solutions to customers across the UK & Ireland for almost 40 years. We offer a diverse range of services including Facility Support, Building Services, Engineering and Industrial Support together with Environmental Solutions & Waste Management.

Due to continued growth, we have a new opening for an Operative to join our Chemical Processing Services Division (PPSL).

Precision Processing Services Ltd (PPSL) specialises in thermos-chemical removal of contaminants from process equipment used within various industries across the UK, Europe and South America.

Duties:

· HSE Compliance - Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with all legal, site and Safety requirements. Workload is implemented within the framework of ISO 9001.

· Working as part of a team- The work involves processing parts through a range of chemical treatments and water washing steps. Dismantling and rebuilding of equipment. Recording process information – temperatures/times etc.

· Project Participation- Ability to work closely with engineers/management on various projects involving process requirements.

· Knowledge of Customers Equipment - Ensure the safe handling of components throughout the cleaning process. Ability to accurately assemble, disassemble/ rebuild equipment to correct specification/torques etc.

· Housekeeping - Ensuring operational areas are kept tidy and safe.

· Assisting on various tasks as and when necessary

Criteria:

· Good concentration and attention to detail;

· Strong teamwork skills;

· Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to identify problems;

· Knowledge of safety and quality standards and procedures;

· Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.16 per hour
