Kitchen Assistant
Priory Adult Care are looking for an enthusiastic kitchen assistant for our site based on the outskirts of Motherwell. Avondale is a 55 bedded nursing home at the centre of the community caring for frail elderly and clients with dementia , for over 30 years promoting high standards of care with a dedicated and motivated staff team
The Role
As kitchen assistant, you will help assist kitchen staff to provide high quality food and hospitality for our residents. Working to the highest on standards, ensuring dietary requirements of all the residents are met. You will
- Work alongside kitchen staff to help prepare food and meals
- General kitchen housekeeping, ensuring the kitchen meets high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in line with the Health and Safety and Company guidelines to ensure safe working practice within the Home.
- Serving food/drinks/snacks to the residents at meal times
- Cleaning after service (Dishwasher duties, clearing down tables, preparation benches)
