Role Overview & Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine molecular biology techniques including DNA isolation, PCR, DNA assembly, transformation, plasmid preparation, WB, SDS-Page, etc.

• Perform routine cellular biology techniques including various cancer cell lines culture, plasmid transfection, stable cell line generation/identification.

• Manage inventory of required materials.

• QC materials required for daily operations.

• Maintain timely documentation of laboratory work.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• BS or MS in molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, cell biology or a related field.

• 1+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a molecular and cellular biology laboratory

• Mastery of cell culture/aseptic techniques is desirable.

• Experience with and deep understanding of antibody production is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
