Hours: 10.5 hours per week (0.3FTE) Fixed Term (18 Months)

Grade 8: £41,931 - £52,841 per annum (with possible progression to £59,450 per annum)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Arts and Play Therapies team, to work with the Play Therapy programme delivered in collaboration with With Kids. Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified Arts or Play Therapists who possess practice, education, and research experience. You will hold a postgraduate degree; have relevant post qualification experience and evidence of active continuing professional development. You will possess interpersonal skills that will enable you to display leadership and innovation, and you will work effectively with colleagues, learners, and networks.


This position of Lecturer in Arts Therapies and Play Therapy requires the successful candidate to contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of learning, teaching, and assessment to integrate the QMU Person-centred Practice and Dissertation modules into the Play Therapy programme, as well as actively engage in research and scholarly activities. This will involve some flexibility to work between the With Kids team in Glasgow and the arts therapies teams in QMU.
