Main Responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming customers and ensuring that they’re comfortable and checked-in
- Making and serving refreshments for clients.
- Gowning clients in readiness for hairdressing services
- Performing shampooing, conditioning treatments, removing colours, neutralising perms and any other tasks deemed suitable under supervision, if required.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, hairstyles and products
- Recommending suitable hair products and promoting salon services
- Cleaning work stations and sanitising equipment throughout the day
- Ensuring the salon is clean and tidy at the end of the day.
- Working with a variety of equipment like straighteners, clippers and hot brushes
- Reporting to FOH to maintain an adequate inventory of hair products and tools
- Occasionally assisting the FOH with answering the telephone, dealing with enquiries and booking appointments.
- Making sure that each client leaves happy by offering their coat and opening the doors
