A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Maintenance Manager at Hampton by Hilton
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the General Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.
Responsible for all maintenance throughout the hotel delivering high standards of service to all guests and working alongside and supporting the maintenance assistant.
- Managing on site contractors ensuring all Health and Safety compliance is met
- Ensuring hotel bedrooms are maintained to Hilton standards.
- To have a visible presence within the hotel to ensure that all customer requests are responded to promptly and effectively.

To succeed in the role of Maintenance Manager, you will need the following qualities and skills.
- Understand and manage property compliance
- Manage contractors on site
- Prepared to carry out property maintenance as required
- Become an integral member of a close hotel team in a busy environment
- Computer skills essential
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Previous experience of working in a hotel or a similar environment
