Reet Yorkshire Food, based in Ripon are a small, but rapidly growing company making artisan Jams, Marmalades, Chutneys, Relishes and Sauces.
We are looking for a Food Production Operative to join our small team working in the kitchen making our delicious products.
This post is to cover maternity leave for one year.
We are an award-winning business and you will be responsible for manufacturing our products, ensuring the highest standard and continuity
Key responsibilities:
- Follow our in-house recipes to produce our products
- Food preparation, cooking and packing
- Work efficiently to ensure weekly output targets are met
- Maintain a clean production environment
- Comply with food safety standards, quality and legality
Skills required to fulfil the roles include:
- Food production experience desirable, but not essential. Full training will be given
- Ability to work in a small team environment & independently
- Good work ethic, efficient, reliable and trustworthy
- Good literacy, numeracy skills
- Knowledge of working to Salsa standards – not essential
- Hours of work – 24 hours per week over 3 days per week.
