Role Overview & Responsibilities

At Renaissance the Gentle Gym our approach to delivering fitness is innovative, caring and enabling. We provide an invaluable service that enables all people especially those who find main stream gyms intimidating to restore and maintain their health through exercise. We are committed to putting our clients' needs first and are looking for dedicated people who share our values and passion.

You will be welcoming, encouraging and able to deliver training and inspire our clients to achieve their fitness goals.

You will have Level 2 or 3 Gym instructor with or without Exercise Referral Qualifications with First Aid at work certification.
You will carry out fitness assessments, consultations and induction sessions for new members. Showing members how to use exercise machines and free weights correctly. Creating personal exercise plans for members In line with health and safety supervise members to make sure they are exercising safely and effectively General housekeeping duties in the gym, making sure the gym and equipment is kept to a clean and professional standard. Be the point of contact for new members, taking them through the application process from start to finish including inductions. Take part in any promotional activity

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 3.5- 10 per week

Salary: £9.00-£10.50 per hour
