Software Engineer Node & Typescript - Contract | Remote First

If so, Reqiva are working with a client with the vision to transform the agrifood sector through a thriving Data Marketplace. You will be part of the large Software Engineering team with a focus of improving the agrifood sector using data-enabled products and services.

This contract will be fully remote with the opportunity to attend the head office in Reading once a month for a meeting, all expenses paid.

This role gives developers the opportunity to learn and develop new skills, as across the team they use multiple technologies and are flexible. You will also work alongside Data Science experts.

This client will be looking at paying a day rate of £450 - £500 outside of IR35.

Key Responsibilities for the Contract Software Engineer:

• Confident in working as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team in an agile environment
• You will have a great positive attitude towards problem solving and working with the team
• The ability to build business cases and make recommendations for the business
• You will lead developers within the team and help coach junior developers

The Contract Software Engineer will have the following:

• Be proficient coding with Node & Typescript & React
• 4 years plus experience, Mid to Senior level
• Experience within working in a cloud environment, they work exclusively within Azure but any experience across AWS or GCP would also be beneficial.
