Key Tasks / Responsibilities
- Goods In – Checking Supplier Deliveries against manifest, identifying any discrepancies, binning to location
- Unloading vehicles – containers (handball), pallets, cartons
- Goods Out – Picking, Packing to customer specification
- Re-work and assembly
- Vehicle loading
- Fork lift truck driving – Flexi, Counter Balance, High Level Order Picker, Ride on Pedestrian Truck
- Liaison with Customer Service staff to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met
- Use of systems to create picks and create carrier consignments
- Communicate specific customer requirements to Operations Team
- Execution of tasks and requests to customer requirements
- Checking of paperwork
Key Attributes Required
- 2 years experience in a similar roll
- Diligence and attention to detail
- Good literacy and numeracy
- Punctuality and attendance
- Ability to work both un-supervised and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
Salary £21000 per year, + bonus after a successful probation period
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
