Project Manager

This position includes 75% travel in the U.S. & Internationally. My client is hiring a Project manager, must have experience in capital packaging machine projects. Working with other departments such as sales & service, and post-sales teams to insure support throughout installation. Make sure to understand customer specs with Technical sales teams, internal engineering, 3rd party vendors, field service managers to resolve all issues for customers that are needing installation.
Travel internationally for FATs on complex equipment.
Qualifications: 2 years related technical project management experience PMP certification preferredSom mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference are needed. Fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Knowledge of concepts involving fractions, %, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 & Project management software. Current driver's license & Passport required for travel.
Project Manager will manage and implement various projects related to capital equipment operations and expansion for all US Operations & some travel to Germany. This role will oversee the planning, design, and execution of assigned projects such as plant expansions, equipment installations, and designs, etc. He/she will coordinate internal and external resources and work closely with the maintenance and production departments to ensure the successful completion of various projects. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer and the Maintenance Director. The backup for this role will be the Director of Maintenance.Description-Prepares and updates project engineering procedures including a description of the project administration process and contract documentation guidelines.Provides technical oversight and coordination of project engineering work; through project coordination meetings and other means, monitors progress against project schedules and budgets; reviews project design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, contract requirements, and related specifications; recommends allocation of resources as required to accomplish goals.Monitors progress and performance of capital projects against capital improvement plan; evaluates and approves changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, and schedule of the projects.Develops and monitors project engineering schedules, budgets, and forecastsParticipates actively as a member of the plant management team; provides necessary support for other plant functions/activities as determined by managerMaintains accurate and up-to-date project files and drawings, and identifies corrections for safety, ergonomic and operational problems through proper design of equipmentApplies any environmental regulations and ensures they are respectedReads, analyzes, and interprets a variety of instructions, manuals, and procedures in written, oral, diagram, and schedule formDevelops bid packages including scope of workSupport all projects across all facilitiesDemonstrates professionalism in all aspects of plant’s rules and regulations and encourages quality personnel performanceEnsures that all identified contractors are suitably pre-qualified/ assured for the delivery of the project.Provides technical direction to supply chain for the negotiation of the purchase of any good and/ or services required for the delivery of the project.
