Role Overview & Responsibilities

Restaurant in Kensington High Street.

There is a bus stop immediately in front of the restaurant and only 7 minute walk from High Street Kensington tube stop.

We pay from £10.50 to £12.50 per hour (depending on age and experience).

Full-time position approximately over 50 hours per week minimum.

We are looking for a dependable and efficient Kitchen Assistant to join our team. With potential progression to chef.

You will be responsible for supporting the kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and general cleanliness. The Kitchen Assistant will maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen and ensure that all food preparation areas and equipment are clean and sanitized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food according to recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure that all food preparation areas and equipment are clean and sanitized.
• Follow all safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Stock and organize ingredients and supplies in the kitchen.
• Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Follow proper storage and labeling procedures for food items.
• Help with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Follow instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
