You will be joining our motivated South East reserves management team and take responsibility for delivering our new management and biodiversity vision for Martlesham Wilds. This is an exciting and entirely new 117 hectare acquisition of a former working farm, comprising intertidal saltmarsh, freshwater grazing marshes, scrub and woodland habitats.

Could you be our new South East Suffolk & Martlesham Wilds Warden?

This dynamic new reserve has a high existing footfall as it lies in a very attractive location close to Woodbridge town, Martlesham village and Martlesham Heath residential areas. You will need to be proactively engaged in public facing elements of wardening to deliver our messaging to the public.

You will be committed to recruit, develop and lead a team of volunteers in addition to regular internships to achieve excellent conservation management in accordance with the Trust’s conservation objectives.

You will ensure accessibility and a welcoming atmosphere at all our reserves. Your friendly and engaging manner will help ensure all reserve visitors have a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
