Role Overview & Responsibilities
Overview:
To perform internal governance activities to ensure SAGE Technology provides a consistent and compliant service, aligned to the overall direction of SAGE. To assist in security governance, risk management, data protection, audit and compliance, performance management and the governance of information and technology at SAGE.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: - Facilitate the creation and maintenance of governance documentation including guidelines and policies to increase alignment, accountability, and compliance.
- Maintain critical technology metrics to measure progress against the strategy, compliance to policy, and delivery of business value.
- Support continuous process improvement to improve efficiency and increase productivity.
- Support audit and compliance processes to protect the reputation and profitability of SAGE.
- Manage small governance projects from inception to fruition.
- Execute security governance and data protection activities, ensuring that security and privacy is built into all processes.
- Support the communication of standards and best practice across SAGE.
- Uphold security and privacy standard practices and ensure that security is embedded in each activity.
- Demonstrates continuous professional learning.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and good attention to detail.
- Passion for data protection, privacy, and security.
- Ability to develop relationships and positively influence key partners across locations and functions.
- Experience of working effectively in a team with a collaborative approach.
- Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally.
