Fraud Prevention's mission is to design, deliver and evolve best-in-class fraud capabilities to protect our customers and to establish Santander as the global lead for preventing economic crime. Our Fraud Prevention product team currently sits with over 70 resources which makes up 4 feature squads, a release team and a central team, spanning across the UK, India, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Hungary and Poland.

There is a vast and detailed roadmap for Fraud Prevention in 2023 consisting of a range of different initiatives, all to help fight the prevention of Fraud and Scams to our customers. Our Vision is to be the absolute best in class at preventing & managing fraud through the development and growth of our people, our technology and collaboration with key stakeholders.

The difference you’ll make.

  • Reviewing functional requirements with the Business Analysts, Product Owners, Functional & Technical Architectures to define, document & deliver the best solution
  • Planning and liaise with all stakeholders to support the implementation of software
  • Supporting the coordination and execution of technical testing, destructive or high availability test and performance test.
  • Supporting the application in Production, prioritization of incidents and escalations
  • Supporting the core team’s working practices, managing dependencies and commitment from multiple contributing teams
  • Identifying and unblocking distractions to ensure the team stay focused on the things that deliver value

What you’ll bring.

  • Solid technical background with an ability to unpick complex problems
  • Experience with API development and pipelines
  • Knowledge of IBM API, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Openshift and MicroServices Architecture
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira and Confluence tools
  • Experience with continuous delivery practices
  • Scoping project requirements, considerations, and dependencies

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Experience in building new proposals E2E based on high level requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple deliveries in parallel
  • Experience in delivering Fraud related initiatives
  • Experience working within AWS

What else you need to know.

An fixed term contract role for 24 Months, hybrid working role with an expectation to travel into the Milton Keynes office twice per week (Wed and Thurs)
